Milltown - Baile an Mhuilinn / The Hanafin Monument

Description

Bronze stele with on one side a relief picture of the Hanafin brothers and on the other side, panels with music notation and an apple with thetext 'APPLES IN WINTER'. The monument is in the center of the small top circle of a stone wall shaped as an 8. On this wall are 32 pieces of artwork created by members of the local community, celebrating all aspects of life in Milltown.

Liam Lavery, Irish artist, works since 1988 together with Eithne Ring.
