Description

The Market fountain from 1996 symbolizes with its figures, seals and coats of arms as well as the course of the flowing water the historical development of the town and region of Rüthen from the town's founding, the Rüdenburg, the former city Kallenhardt and the Gogericht Rüthen to the present town with its 15 villages and towns.

At the top of the central column three bronze statuettes of allegorical figures, standing on a semi-sphere.
