Description

Sculpture group of five figures on separate columns, reflecting the pipes of an organ. The central column is surmounted by a statue of Telemann in baroque costume in a directing pose. Around him are female figures representing the four temperaments: sanguine (pleasure-seeking and sociable), choleric (ambitious and leader-like), melancholic (introverted and thoughtful), and phlegmatic (relaxed and quiet).
