Description

Fountain with in the center a concrete structure with six figures. The fountain embodies the present and the future as well as young and old in equal measure with its individual elements and thus be a reflection of the city and its inhabitants. These figures symbolise a city conversation.

In 2019 (?) was decided to add three new sculptures to the fountain. These figures are to represent historical personalities with a connection to the city of Dessau. Proposed are: Walter Gropius, Princess Louise, and Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff. The material of the sculptures is bronze. The creation of the works, including their installation, is to take place in 2020, 2021 and 2022 respectively. We visited Dessau 3 September 2022 and found only the statues of Gropius and Princess Louise.
