Description

The Théatre des Célestins was designed by Gaspard André, and inaugurated in 1877. The façade shows two allegorical statues by Roubaud and three busts, sculpted by Pagny, with writers representing tragedy (Hugo), Comedy (Musset) and Vaudeville (Scribe).
