Annotation

The fountain was first located on the old market square, Mercado D. Pedro V, which was ended in 1940. From 1941 on that location is the Mercado dos Lavradores. Since 1941 the fountain is in the courtyard of the town hall. A tile tableau at the Mercado dos Lavradores shows the old situation.
