Beschrijving / Description

Beeld dat een variant is op de Belder of Belleman elders in Ronse (klik hier). Het lijkt alsof hier een vrouw met bellen is weergegeven.
De Belleman verwijst naar de jaarlijkse Fiertelommegang op Drievuldigheidszondag (zondag na Pinksteren) waarbij het reliekschrijn van Sint-Hermes in een grote cirkel om de stad wordt gedragen.

The Bell ringer refers to the annual Fiertel-procession on Trinity Sunday (Sunday after Pentecost) in which the reliquary of Saint-Hermes is carried in a large circle around the town.
