Sculptuur van een meisje met een paraplu zittend op een grote kikker. Het beeld straalt liefde en bescherming uit. Al spelend geniet het kind ook volop van de natuur. De kunstenaar wil een oproep doen aan het belangrijkste talent van de mens: de kunst om lief te hebben.
Het dochtertje van de kunstenaar stond model voor dit beeld.
A sculpture of a girl holding an umbrella sitting on a large frog. The sculpture radiates love and protection. Whilst playing, the child is also fully enjoying nature. The artist wishes to appeal to humanity’s most important talent: the art of loving.

Art in the Street
Art in the Street is a cultural project in Zwijndrecht and Burcht in the province of East Flanders. Between 1991 and 2012, the municipality of Zwijndrecht, in collaboration with the Cultural Council, acquired around twenty works of art for the ‘Art in the Street’ project. The works are displayed in public spaces and are made from materials including polyester, bronze, wood, blue stone, brick and Corten steel.
In 2025, the municipality of Zwijndrecht merged with Beveren and Kruibeke.
