Description

The Tourist Center 'Tancredo Neves' has a façade of steel, with controlled oxydation, therefore it is nicknamed 'Rainha da Sucata' (Queen of Scrap') . It was designed by the architects Sylvio E. de Podestá and Éolo Maia and was built 1985-92. One of the elements of the façade is a large steel orange (melon?).
