To Provost Václav Štulc, restorer of the faded glory of Vyšehrad Hill, dedicated by Provost Mikuláš Karlach in 1910	Here your glory, your name, and your praiseworthy deeds shall endure

Despite the fact that it is followed by ‘Horac.’, the Latin quotation is based from Virgil’s Aeneid (Book 1, line 610), 'semper honos nomenque tuum laudesque manebunt'
