Description

Allegorical status on two sidewings of a complex of ministerial buildings built between 1924 and 1929 to a design by the architect Bohumil Huebschmann On the façades of the side wings there are four allegorical female figures. They are holding attributes that refer to the original purpose of the buildings. The first wing to be built (1927) was intended for the Ministry of Social Welfare, and the second symmetrical wing (1928) was originally designed for the Ministry of Health, but was allocated to the Provincial Administration of Bohemia even before its completion.
