Fontain with three basins aligned axially one above the other on a central column. Carved around the lower half of the column are three figures of bears, standing on their hind legs and clasping one another with their front paws. On their heads they support the shallow basin of the middle tank, on which are carved four gargoyles in the form of mascarons and ribbed conch shells. The upper part of the column is decorated with sculpted leaves. It supports the smallest basin, featuring a statue of Neptune. Neptune is depicted in motion, with flowing drapery around his arms, riding three dolphins and leaning on his trident. From the front, his nudity is concealed by the tail of one of the dolphins.
The fountain was commissioned by Count Jan Jiří Jáchym Slavata of Chlum and Košumberk and his wife Kateřina, née de Montfort, for the garden to the north of their summer residence, where it was installed in 1689. After a few other locations it was installed at the present location in 1945.
