Description

Two monumental rat sculptures stand on the bow of the (A)VOID Floating Gallery, a cultural venue. The gallery occupies the hull of the former paddle steamer Vyšehrad, launched in 1938 as Dr. Edvard Beneš, later renamed Labe and Wischehrad, and now Vyšehrad. Since 2012 the vessel has been used as a floating gallery, concert venue, bar and, in winter, as the floating sauna Lázně na lodi.

The rat sculptures form part of the exhibition 'Sochy na lodi' (Sculptures on the Boat), 2024-2025.
