Description
Two bronze horse sculptures stand between the tram tracks and roadways, these horses are no ruler on the back and are descended from her pedestal.
Annotation
As a template for their two sculptures, the artist group elected two famous equestrian statues from Berlin-Brandenburg: the Great Elector Frederick William in the court of Charlottenburg Palace (by Andreas Schlüter), and that of Frederick the Great in front of the Orangery in Sanssouci Park in Potsdam (by Christian Daniel Rauch ). The latter is in turn a copy of the statue at Unter den Linden in Berlin.
