Sculpture of an ideally formed, undressed young man on rearing horse who is killing a mighty lion thrown on his back with a spear.
The sculpture as designed by Christian Daniel Rauch and created by Albert Wolff.
A repetition of the horse from 1865/1866 is in front of the Technical University in Hannover (Sachsenross).
