Am Eingang zur Kirche von der Stadtseite her, oben an der Treppe, stehen "als Schutzheilige der Stadt und ihrer Einwohner, der heilige Bonifatius, der Apostel der Germanen, und der heilige Kilian, der Apostel der Franken."
Die Identifizierung der beiden Darstellungen ist nicht ganz sicher, da die üblichen Erkennungsmerkmale fehlen. Da Bonifatius meist als älterer, bärtiger Bischof und Kilian als jugendlicher Bischof dargestellt wird, wurde die untenstehende Identifizierung gewählt.
At the entrance to the church from the town side, at the top of the steps, stand "as patron saints of the town and its inhabitants, Saints Boniface, the Apostle of the Germans, and Kilian, the Apostle of the Franks."
The identification of the two figures is not entirely certain, as the usual identifying features are missing. As Boniface is usually depicted as an elderly, bearded bishop and Kilian as a youthful bishop, the identification given below has been chosen.
