Erzengel, der Feldherr der Armee Gottes. Er wird oft dargestellt, wie er Satan – der als Drache dargestellt wird – tötet, und er trägt ein Schild mit der Aufschrift quis ut deus (Wer ist wie Gott?, eine wörtliche Übersetzung des Namens Michael).

Sgraffito, brown on light yellow background, at the front facade of a house facing St. Michael's Church.
In the lower corners the years 1945 and 1954, respectively the year of the air raids on Hildesheim and the year the sgraffito was made.
