Erzengel, der Feldherr der Armee Gottes. Er wird oft dargestellt, wie er Satan – der als Drache dargestellt wird – tötet, und er trägt ein Schild mit der Aufschrift quis ut deus (Wer ist wie Gott?, eine wörtliche Übersetzung des Namens Michael).

Beschreibung / Description

Statue of St. Michael as a dragon slayer in a niche in a remnant of the St. Michael monastery on the grounds of the Andreanum Gymnasium. It dates from after 1753.
