Description

Sculpture of a small boy with a large fish in a fountain basin. The fountain is protected by a barred fence and the sculpture is therefore difficult to see.
The original fish boy was stolen by scrap metal thieves in 1965, later rediscovered in the Oker and put back in its original location. It was stolen again in 1976 and remained untraced. A newly cast figure was erected in 1978.

Grete Krämer-Zschäbitz (Braunschweig 1904 - Braunschweig 2000), German Sculptor, ceramist, and mosaicist.
