Beschreibung / Description

Stone torso of a pregnant woman.
Pregnancy is used here as a symbol of Marsberg's connection to the earth and the fertility of the region in agriculture, forestry, natural stone extraction and mining.

The sculpture was made at the Marsberger Steinbildhauersymposium 2001 (Marsberg Stone Sculpture Symposium 2001).
