„NACKEN PÜTTʺ
dieser bei ausschachtungsarbeiten deshauses nacke 1994 entdeckte brunnen erinnert an die wasserversorgung der eper dorfbewohner in frühere zeit. erst 1905 konnte auf betreiben des amt- mannes pilatus ein zentrales wasser- leitungsnetz angelegt werden. die brunnenfigur – das mädchen „ännekenʺ – weist auf die früher übliche form der wasserversorgung hin. heimatverein epe 1998

NACKE WELL
This well, discovered during excavation workon the Nacke house in 1994, serves as a reminder of the water supply for the villagers of Epe in earlier times. It was not until 1905 that, at the instigation of the district administrator Pilatus, a central water supply network was installed. The fountain figure – the girl Änneken – refers to the form of water supply that was customary in the past. Epe Local History Society 1998
