Skulptur von Shakespeares Petruchio, der auf einem Bein kniet, während er die Arme und das andere Bein weit ausstreckt. Die angespannte, asymmetrische Haltung suggeriert zugleich Bewegung, Bravour und Instabilität. Die Skulptur zeigt keinen statischen Helden, sondern eine theatralische Figur, die zwischen Auftritt, Aufschwung und Sturz balanciert.
A sculpture of Shakespeare’s Petruchio kneeling on one leg whilst stretching out his arms and his other leg wide. The tense, asymmetrical pose suggests movement, bravado and instability all at once. The sculpture does not depict a static hero, but a theatrical figure balancing between performance, taking flight and falling.

1998 schafften zahlreiche Engagierte, Unternehmer, Freunde und Förderer der Stadt Billerbeck eine künstlerische Verbindung vom Rathaus zur Freilichtbühne: Die 'Theatermeile'. Diese Meile besteht aus einem Stadtrelief und 14 künstlerischen Objekten, Plastiken und Skulpturen von Darstellungen aus der Theaterwelt.
The Theatre Mile in Billerbeck
In 1998, a large number of committed individuals, entrepreneurs, friends and supporters of the town of Billerbeck created an artistic link between the town hall and the open-air stage: the 'Theatre Mile'. This mile consists of a town relief and 14 artistic objects, sculptures and statues depicting scenes from the world of theatre.
