Nachbildung aus dem Jahr 1932 einer vermutlich aus dem 15. Jahrhundert stammenden Märtyrersäule, wie sie für das Münsterland typisch sind. Am Fuß der Säule sitzt Jesus mit Dornenkrone und Stab. Auf der Säule sind in Reliefdarstellung Attribute seines Leidens sowie die heilige Veronika mit dem Schweißtuch angebracht. Vor der Säule stehen zwei Lanzen. Auf der Spitze der Säule steht ein Hahn, die erinnert er an die Verleugnung des Petrus vor der Gefangennahme Christi.
Vom Original sind nur Bruchstücke erhalten. Die Inschrift ist verloren gegangen.
A 1932 replica of a Martyrs’ Column, thought to date from the 15th century, typical of the Munsterland region. At the base of the column sits Jesus, wearing a crown of thorns and holding a staff. The column features relief carvings depicting symbols of his suffering, as well as the Veil of St Veronica. Two lances stand in front of the column. A cockerel stands at the top of the column.
Only fragments of the original have survived. The inscription has been lost.
