The work represents group of three women, close to one another, who are engrossed in an animated conversation. All three are wrapped in blanket-like cloaks throwing stiff folds. They wear shoes with elevated crude block heels and a cap-like headgear. One seems to talk, others listen to her.

Annotation
The sculpture was inaugurated on 31 May 1985 on the forecourt of the main building of the Kreissparkasse Steinfurt. The sculpture was created for as a competition on the theme 'Communication', organized by the Sparkasse Ibbenbüren.
The sculptor himself named this sculpture "On-dit", French for "rumor", and rumors are a common and popular means of human communication.
