Description

The monument consists of three parts. In the center stands on a high plinth an c. 6 m high dolomite stone cross. On both sides of the cross are two walls with 20 tablets with the 350 names of the killed miners. In the center of each of these walls is a 2 m high pedestal on which on the left a statue of a kneeling, praying miner, and on the right a stsatue of two grieving women.
