Erzengel, der Feldherr der Armee Gottes. Er wird oft dargestellt, wie er Satan – der als Drache dargestellt wird – tötet, und er trägt ein Schild mit der Aufschrift quis ut deus (Wer ist wie Gott?, eine wörtliche Übersetzung des Namens Michael).

Statue of St. Michael slaying the dragon, painted white and gold. It stands on a console in the facade of the house 'Heinrich Gruyters', part of the Hotel zu den goldenen & silbernen Schlüsseln (Hotel the Gold and Silver Keys).
