Josef wird meist als bärtiger Mann in einer klassischen Robe dargestellt. Seine Attribute sind eine Lilie und/oder Zimmermannswerkzeuge. Er kann von Jesus begleitet werden, entweder als Säugling in seinen Armen oder als kleiner Junge, der neben ihm steht. Joseph is usually depicted as a bearded man in a classic robe. His attributes are a lily and/or arpenter's tools. He can be accompanied by Jesus as an infant in his arms or as a young boy standing next to him.
