Two stoen statues of 'wild men' that belonged to a 16th-century house that stood on this site until 1945.

Die Kommisse wurde 1596 als Gästehaus
des Halberstädter Bischofs Heinrich
Julius fertiggestellt und am 8. April 1945 zerstört.
Die Fassade des Neubaus im Hintergrund der
Figuren wurde der einst an gleicher
Stelle stehenden Kommisse nachempfunden.
Die Restaurierung der 'Wilde Männer'
erfolgte 1998 mit Spenden der Bürgeraktion
Holzmarkt und Fischmarkt e.V. 		The Kommisse was completed in 1596 as a guest house
for Bishop Heinrich Julius of Halberstadt
and destroyed on 8 April 1945.
The facade of the new building in the background
of the figures was modeled on the Kommisse
that once stood in the same place.
The restoration of the 'Wild Men' took
place in 1998 with donations from
the Bürgeraktion Holzmarkt und Fischmarkt.
