Description

Marble bust, was created for a first monument donated by the Leipzig-Dresden Railway Company in 1878, which was located near the Schwanenteich from 1887 to 1910. In 1927, the bust was incorporated into the List-Harkort Monument, which was located in the same park. After the destruction of the List-Harkort Monument in World War II, the busts of Harkort and List were stored in the Museum of Fine Arts around 1960. In 1999 both busts were placed at the west end of the cross platform in the main station (see also the Friedrich-List bust).
