At three entrances of the town of Palos de la Frontera are metal replica's of the three ships of Columbus' fleet.
The Santa Maria at the north entrance, Calle Cristobal Colón. Only the soccle is left. The ship has gone. (Photo to the right).
The Pinta at the south entrance, Avenida de America.
The Niña at the east entrance, Calle Juan de la Cosa. With my sister Riet on the photo.

A comparable ship is placed in Niebla, on the road to Palos de la Frontera (or is this half of the Palos ship Santa Maria?).
I have found no information about these ships. They seem to be older than 1992.
