Description

Representation of a fallen warrior, lying down with his head at one end and his shield at his feet.
It was made by Henry Moore in 1977 to replace another piece of his that had been part of the First International Exhibition of Street Sculpture, held in Santa Cruz in 1973. Two of the casts are publicly exhibited; one in the gardens of the Imperial Palace of Goslar in Goslar, Germany, and another in Santa Cruz.
