Description
The monument shows on top the allegory of Cuba, made by Miguel Blay, and on both sides of the pedestal the figures of Queen Isabella I by Juan Cristóbal and that of Columbus by Francisco Asorey. The decorative design was by Mariano Benlliure.
Annotation
It is close to the Puerta de America of the Parque del Retiro.
