pystytti riihimäen kaupunki 1964.

This little park and statue
was donated by the
Helsinki Worker's Savings Bank
to the town of Riihimäki in 1964.

Helsingin Työväen SäästÖpankin
Riihimäen konttori lahjoitti tämän
tontin kaupungille vuonna 1963.
Tontin lahjoittamiseen vaikutti
suuresti pankin valvojana toiminut
kunnallisneuvosmies Niilo Suominen.
Vuonna 1964 kaupunki pystytti
tontille Jyrki Sailon veistämän
"Lapsenlikka" - patsaan.

The Helsinki Workers' Savings Bank,
Riihimäki office, donated this
plot of land to the town in 1963.
The donation of the land by the bank
greatly influenced by town councillor
Niilo Suominen.
In 1964, the town erected on the
plot the statue 'Girl with child' by
the sculptor Jyrki Sailo.
