Annotation
Water Nymphs, also known as 'Play', was commissioned by the City of Helsinki to enhance the small water pool near the Kappeli restaurant situated in Esplanadi park. Viktor Jansson's daughter Tove, the renowned author of the 'Moomin' books, modelled for the larger nymph. See the commemorative plaque in Helsinki.
