Description

Large stone sculpture group of the horse Bayard with the four sons of Aymon.

The statue stands on the rock above Château-Regnault (now part of Bogny-sur-Meuse), said to be the castle of Renaud de Montauban, one of the four sons of Aymon.

Building the statue started in 1932, the inauguration was 18 years later, 2 July 1950.
