Two statues in the front façade of the Hotel-Dieu, first founded in 549 by this royal couple.

Ultrogothe

Childebert was sculpted by Prost and Ultrogotha by Charles.

The statues were donated by M. Godinot and his widow Jeanne-Marie Guerin. They were unveiled on 4 November 1819 in the presence of among others the Comte Albert-Magdelaine-Claude de Lezay-Marnésia, prefect of the Rhône departement, baron Pierre-Thomas Rambaud, mayor of Lyon, and Durand, the architect.
