Description

Bronze statue of Tyndale standing, in doctor's robes, with his right hand laid on an open copy of the New Testament resting on a primitive printing press. In his left hand is a manuscript, and other books and a scroll are at his feet. The statue is based on the painting at Hertford College Oxford, but whereas that shows the writer interrupted from his work, this is in academic garb and with his attributes of books and printing press.
