Description

Stone statue of Foley in formal dress with a frock coat probably representing him in a pose talking in parliament. In his right hand he is holding a paper scroll. The statue stands on top of the facade of the building of the Pearl Life Assurance Co., now Foleys Tap House, built in 1911 by the architect William Bakewell The first stone for the building was laid on 14 July 1910 by P.J. Foley.
