Description

Stone statue in a niche in the gable above the entrance of the church, built in 1867 after designs by Matthew Ellison Hadfield (1812-1885). When the church was opened, 30 November 1867, the statue above the entrance was not placed yet. A second statue of St. Hilda stands in the garden to the left of the church, there is also a statue group of St Mary of Lourdes.
