Painted steel sculpture group of a large trunk and file cabinets, together with a director's chair, a pile of books, a helmet, a sitting bird, and a rifle. It celebrates the filming of Atonement, a romantic war tragedy film directed by Joe Wright and based on Ian McEwan's 2001 novel of the same name (Wikipedia). Redcar's beach was the site of the Dunkirk beach sequence and stood in for Bray-Dunes, an other scene was shot in the Regent Cinema on the promenade.
