Annotation
The statue of Þorfinnur Karlsefni Þórðarson, created by Einar Jónsson, is on the grounds of Hrafnista, a retirement home for old seamen, in Reykjavik. At my visit, in June 2003, the statue was in storage because of some building work. I don't know if, and when, it will be replaced.
Another copy of this statue is in Philadelphia.
