Stone half figure; on the pedestal is an allegorical relief 'La fermezza coronata dalla vittoria' - The firmness crowned by victory.
The original bronze bust made by Ferrari was molten during World War II and in 1946 replaced with a marble copy made by Carlo Pisi.
