Marble statue of Mazzini with a newspaper in his hands. On the pedestal is a relief of the Capitoline Wolf, with the date 1849, and at the foot flags and books.

According to the Biennale booklet, the pedestal is sculpted by the sculptor Giuseppe Garibaldi (we haven't found any other source for the existence of this sculptor).
