Annotation
The sculpture is dedicated to outstanding people of Riga, it commemorates Riga's history, ethnicity, demography, geography and ecology. It is a enlargement of the annual award of Riga. The work was sponsored by Latvia Gas with help of the Turiba Business School, The Riga City Council, the Science Academy and the Riga Prize Society.
The architect of the monument is Jānis Krastiņš.
