Description

Mosaic of azulejos in various tints of red.
Jorge de Lencastre granted Grândola its town charter in 1544 (Carta de Foral, or simply Foral, a royal document in Portugal, whose purpose was to establish a concelho (Council) and regulate its administration, borders and privileges).
