The main part of the fountain is a red granite sphere (diameter c. 8.5 meters) with bubble and arc fountains in a semi-circular basin of 16 meters in diameter. A curved water staircase with five scenes of mountains, alpine pastures, urban landscape, rubbish dump and mermaids leads to the basement of the Europa-Center, while on the opposite side the water flows down three-tiered cascades.
The sphere is populated by many figures, such as 'Harry with the welding goggles', a sunbather with a yellow hat that looks like a salad bowl, woman sitting on a waterfall, woman with watering can looking out a window, the double sculpture of the 'Lovers', etc. In the basin there is Noah's ark , and on the edge of the pool is crocodile.
To the north of the main pool, separated by about 15 metres, is the small fountain with the figure of a boy playing with a a toy figure.
On separate plinths are three sculptures to the north (Budapester Straß)e of the basin: a girl riding on a turtle with inscription alles verzehrt am ende / die eine macht / die macht der zeit (One power consumes everything in the end, the power of time), an alien with a trumpet-like instrument on its head, and a monkey with a staff with inscription ein mann der sich ergötzt an einer blume doch ei wozu das lange schwert ('A man who enjoys a flower - which is why he needs the long sword).
