Description

Circular fountain basin with bronze figures showing the three Graces, Aglaia, Hegemone and Euphrosyne. A stone slab bears the verses from Goethe's Faust II, with which the poet imagines the Graces as symbols of giving, taking and thanksgiving.

Annotation

The fountain was unveiled on 27 October 1963 in memory of George C. Marshall.
