Description

The weather vane on the roof of the corner house shows the silhouette of a workman wearing the characteristic leather cap and carrying a heavy clay pipe. This is a reminder of the stoneware factory that used to be located on this site.

Sculptor

Olaf Höhnen (Mendig/Eifel 1933 - Frechen 2009), German sculptor from Frechen (Website – Wikipedia).
