Description

On top of the central column stand three fishermen with salmons in there hands. This is a reference to the name Laasphe, meaning as 'Salmon-water' (in modern German, salmon is 'Lachs'). Around the column is a band with reliefs showing the way water is used in a town.

On the octagonal basin are the coats-of-arms of Bad Laasphe and its two twin towns.
