Statues - Hither & Thither

 

Description

Sculpture representing a sort of man metamorphosed into a musical instrument – his romp has been replaced by cords and his thighs emerge from pegs, rising from a sphere which he firmly supports with his left hand. It is an enlargement of the original sculpture by Lasso in 1933-34 with a height of c. 80 cm/32 inch.
